What to expect
As a graduate, you’ll work on complex and sophisticated legal matters that shape industries and communities. You’ll be supported by some of the best legal minds in the country and have access to tailored development opportunities that will set you up for success.
Your experience will include:
Practice area rotations:: Complete three six-month rotations across our practice areas, gaining exposure to diverse areas of commercial law.
Challenging work: Engage in research, draft client memos, attend court and client meetings, and contribute to pro bono initiatives.
Comprehensive training: Begin your journey with PLT, local training, and a national orientation program in Sydney, where you’ll gain practical tools, insights, and connections to help you succeed.
Supportive mentorship: Benefit from structured support tailored to your needs, including mentoring from Partners, senior lawyers, and guidance from a dedicated coach and buddy.
Professional development: Participate in exciting in-person workshops, simulations, development days, and opportunities to tackle real-world challenges.
Cutting-edge technology: Gain hands-on experience with innovative tools like Harvey and Lexis+ AI, which are transforming the way we deliver legal services.
Continuing legal education: Access ongoing professional development programs to build your expertise and become the lawyer you aspire to be.
