Media release: Clayton Utz advises Ampol on $225 million acquisition of Evie Networks
Clayton Utz is pleased to be advising Ampol, Australia's leading transport energy provider, on its agreement to acquire Evie Networks for $225 million.
Evie Networks is a major Australian electric vehicle charging infrastructure company which owns and operates one of the country's largest public fast charging networks.
The deal marks a significant move for Ampol, accelerating the development of the company's e-mobility charging solutions, and positioning it to operate one of Australia's premier public battery electric vehicle charging platforms.
The Clayton Utz team advising Ampol is led by partners Mariam Azzo, Walid Sukari and Samy Mansour, together with Lauren Parnaby, Amel Saeed, Jayden Hwang, Scott Vanderwolf, Jacob Elliot, Nathaniel Wong and Justine Hu.
