Clayton Utz has once again been named an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality (EOCGE) by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA), marking the eleventh consecutive time the firm has received this recognition.

The EOCGE citation recognises organisations that are leading the way in advancing gender equality in Australian workplaces. The criteria continue to evolve in line with the latest research and best practice, assessing performance across key areas including leadership, learning and development, gender pay equity, flexible working, support for family and caring responsibilities, employee consultation, prevention of harassment and discrimination, and measurable targets to improve gender equality outcomes.

Clayton Utz Chief Executive Partner Emma Covacevich said the recognition reflects the firm’s sustained commitment to building an inclusive and equitable workplace.

"We are focused on continuing to foster an environment where all of our people can thrive and are empowered to reach their full potential, regardless of gender." Ms Covacevich said.

"Achieving our eleventh consecutive EOCGE recognition is something we are incredibly proud of."

"Gender equality is fundamental to our success as an employer of choice and as a trusted adviser to our clients. While we’ve made strong progress, we know there is more to do, and we remain focused on continuing to drive meaningful and lasting change."

WGEA CEO Mary Wooldridge congratulated Clayton Utz for their work to be recognised through the WGEA Workplace Gender Equality citation.

"Holding the Workplace Gender Equality Citation provides national recognition that Clayton Utz is deeply committed to positive action to achieve gender equality in their workplace," Ms Wooldridge said.
